So, sorry to offend. But my reply wasn't only about me........ it was also about the deleted thread, this board and it's negative image, bugs and AJ. I was discussing the overall problem.
Terry, then why apologize to Bugs and Maggz? By your logic, he eavsdropped too and so he shouldn't complain about what he found. You posted an apology BECAUSE you know that talking about people behind their backs is hurtful and wrong.
If one post was wrong, then so were the posts about other people. If the other posts are within your rules, then so was the one that was deleted. It's hypocritical to have it both ways. And Terry, I always respected the fact that you WEREN'T hypocritical.
Btw, Michelle, I'm certain that Maggz would appreciate it if you or someone posted an apology on Sony. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Just for the record Dyan, I apologised publicly yesterday in the thread Bug chose to do over on the Sony board.
Oh and one last thing, I was not the one that made the remark about Bug and his son. If your complaint is that the thread should have been deleted at the time, maybe you're right Dyan, BUT I am not the only mod on this board and that thread was there for about four days with no complaints from anyone.
We have another rule on this board and that is that a thread can't be deleted unless two or more mods agree that it should be done, which is why it was left until the complaints came in yesterday.

I thought it was wrong to bring him and a baby into the topic and that's why I apologised and, subsequently deleted that thread. I didn't say anything about complaining, merely that eavesdroppers rarely hear what they want to hear. Also, I do think that it's time to drop your angst about what happened a few weeks ago. It's getting a bit old now. You had your say at the time and I had mine and I'd appreciate it if you'd stopping bringing the matter up at every conceivable opportunity. There's nothing more boring than yesterdays news.

Terry, Michelle, I am NOT the enemy. So you needn't get all up in arms when I post here. ALL I was doing was discussing a wider problem that I see on this board and my feelings about that problem. We used to get along, and we could again. So I guess what I'm saying is that I'm offering you the olive branch. I can put aside what's happened over the last month. Will you? Can we all start considering each others feelings?

Terry, as I understand the situation....... the reason Lori's thread was deleted was because it included Bugs and the baby. Thus it's different than the other threads that I mentioned. Does that mean that she was free to post about Maggz if she wanted?

As I recall, NO names were mentioned in that thread (that I wasn't actually involved in Dyan) so I can't really answer that.
Also, are you seriously trying to convince me that there is NEVER a thread on 'your' board that doesn't involve ppl being named? I think not somehow [img]wink.gif[/img]
